Tibetstore in Amsterdam

The Tibetshop in Amsterdam, the oldest of it’s kind in the Netherlands, started 20 years ago and is managed completely by committed volunteers. All revenues from the shop support the Tibet Support Group, advancing the Tibetan cause while based in the Netherlands. The Tibetshop sells products from Tibet or made by Tibetan refugees in exile, who earn an honest wage.

Besides books, travelguides and magazines on Tibet and the Dalai Lama, you will find unique jewellery items, bags, wallets, T-shirts, belts, inscense, tea and many other interesting gift items. Besides people living in Amsterdam, our Tibetshop is increasingly frequented by tourists from the Netherlands and abroad.

The Tibet Support Groep is an independent, not-for-profit foundation that supports the Tibetan plight for freedom through peaceful actions and by informing the Dutch public on the human rights situation in Tibet.
